Why is there a specific diet during the festival?

This year the catering is from the Krishna village and a healthy vegetarian diet is considered low Karma and Satvic for the practice of yoga.

 

Can I bring extra food?

Yes if you have specific needs.

 

Is the festival suitable for pregnant / new mothers?

Yes but there are certain exercises such as breath of fire and potentially some of the harder leg lift options that are not recommended during pregnancy or menstruation, so please ask the teacher running the class for advice and if in doubt sit it out, eg don’t do it.

 

What does the family weekend pass include? 

All festival activity’s and accommodation for 2 adults and two children.

 

How do I apply to be a bazaar vendor?

Can I get a discount?

Kundalini Yoga Festival Australia is a not for profit and prices are very low

there is a come Friday discount code in ticketing.

 

Can I get a refund?

50% before 20th of October, no refund after that date unless there is a medical emergency.

When can I arrive?

On the Thursday in time for the check in registration opens at 3pm, or anytime on the day that your ticket is allocated for if you haven’t purchased a full festival ticket.

Can I make a fire camp near my tent?

No sorry no fires!

May I bring my dog?

No sorry no Dogs or Pets.

 

Is there an ATM at the festival?

Sorry there is not an ATM on site as it is not a large venue, please bring some cash for snacks etc.

 

Can I pay by card or do I need cash?

Some vendors may have payment devices but reception is not that good on site so it pays to bring some cash with you.

 

Do I need to wear a turban?

Theirs no requirement to, but if you would like to you can wear a turban or a head covering to help contain the energy within.

 

Is there a shuttle transfer 

Yes there is an airport to venue return driver if you pre- book it on the ticketing page.

Can I book a ticket for the weekend only?

Yes please see the tickets page for options, look for Saturday and Sunday with a bed.

 

Until when is the Early Bird discount available?

The end of October or other specified dates.

 

Can I sell other food at the Bazaar?

Only if you are a registered vendor with permission to sell food.

 

How much discount do I receive as a teacher?

Teachers still purchase their tickets please make contact for more info.

 

What is the difference between Seva and WEX (Work Exchange)?

Seva is a gifting of energy and help to others through sharing the love and spirit of yoga.

Any work exchanges have to be negotiated with the management in advance of the festival.
