What to expect from this festival
It’s a time to get back to basics, camping, cabins, sleeping under the stars. A chance to unplug from technology, reset your nervous system, detox with healthy vegetarian meals. Workshops on Kundalini yoga, meditation, music, dance, swimming, bush walks, kid activities, lots of fun and plenty of time to rejuvenate on the healing land of the Bundjalung people. It is time to complete the cycle, return home to where it all began, Attuning to Oneness.
The Symbolism of the Ether Tattva
The tattvas are the medium of life, constantly playing and changing our bodies, minds, seasons, and everything around us. As magical as it all is, we rarely take any notice and miss the opportunity to balance our life's experience with these five tattvas. If we can create the conditions in our life to match these elements, we are able to extract the assets from the tattvas and live a deeper, more truthful and harmonise existence. Without these five tattvas life would not be possible. First comes earth, our raw survival instinct, our need for food, stability, and solidity. Water is next, the social relationships that green the earth, and transforms a bare house into a home. Then fire, that brings warmth, heat, spiritual, and romantic transformational passions that imbue those structures with meaning and value. Air moves things in life, it's the imagination, the oxygen that feeds the flames; finally, Ether, the space, the consciousness, or enlightenment. Ether is without the firmness of earth, the coolness of water, the heat of fire or even the movement of wind. It is therefore the very essence of 'emptiness'. The space provided by it is filled by other 4 elements. The space element is the most subtle of all elements, connected to the ear, the mouth (the voice) the organ of action, for sound and Ether are considered the same. Though ether may seem like nothing but emptiness, it imbibes within itself everything and anything that you can see and perceive. The entire universe is a space that has millions of stars, galaxies, and other gaseous or solid matter. The earth is a small part of that vast space and humans are an even smaller part of the cosmos. When we remind ourselves that all five tattvas are sacred within and around us, that enlightenment, which represents the purification and completion of consciousness, requires a harmonious relationship between the four preceding elements. Then the whole universe will be ours.
Getting to the Festival
Please arrive from 3:00pm on Friday 24th November. Transport is availalble (not included with entry) with:

- airport community bus (minimum 15 people need to book so this service can go ahead) leaves Gold Coast Airport 1:30pm Friday 24th and returns 3:30pm Sunday 26th, purchase your seat via the ticket option below or contact mahanraj@me.com by 17th November to book.
- by car, we want your journey to be smooth, so please drive through Chillingham and ignore GPS directions as Tyalgum Rd is under repair.
