Jai Jagdeesh

We love Jai Jagdeesh and are so excited that she is joining us for a concert and workshop at this years festival.

See her and her band live in concert from 7pm Saturday night and again on Sunday night when she joins our all night Kirtan. Then, on Monday morning she will be setting our Hearts on Fire with a powerful workshop.

About ‘A Heart on Fire’ workshop – Monday 7 October

We’ve entered into a time on Earth when nothing but full commitment — to each other, to a practice, to our Selves, to LIFE — will suffice. If we do not face the karmic waves as they roll in, we’ll find ourselves feeling lost, helpless, hopeless. But you were born to be part of the shift in consciousness that lifts this pressure. You were born to be part of changing the paradigm from all-consuming rage to all-consuming LOVE. You are here to help heal the collective grief by healing your own — and then lifting others up to the highest heights of freedom. When we strengthen the muscle of the heart, the organ that keeps our whole body in flow, AND we strengthen the energetic space of the heart center, the chakra that holds space for the entirety of humanity, we can embody all that is needed for this work. Now is the time.

About Jai Jagdeesh

Jai-Jagdeesh’s journey as a singer began nearly 25 years ago, in a temple in India. Spending her formative years in Northern India – and traveling as a musical representative for Yogi Bhajan’s foreign education program – set the foundation for a deep devotion to the sacred texts of the Kundalini yoga tradition and the Sikh faith. Between then and now, her innovative spirit has walked many artistic paths: actress, classical Indian dancer, photographer, and writer. With music at the forefront, she is effervescently expressive. Jai-Jagdeesh’s unique combination of sacred sounds and soulful authenticity continues to connect deeply with audiences as she records, tours, plays festivals, and gives vocal workshops around the world.
