Here’s a sample of the Kundalini Yoga Festival Australia program in 2015
As an alcohol-free and community-based event, the festival is open to all and families are welcome to attend. Australian, NZ and International teachers and musicians deliver a broad range of yoga and meditation workshops suitable for beginners through to advanced. A dedicated kids program will be on offer throughout the weekend too.
In this ever growing stressful and busy world we live in, with more pressure and more financial worry, we need tools to de-stress and help us move through these changing times. The festival offers a holistic experience of a healthier way of life – it’s not just about yoga and meditation, but also about cultivating a greater consciousness of the food we eat, our family, relationships and sense of community.
A regular yoga and meditation practice can deliver significant health benefits and Kundalini Yoga in particular has been proven to assist people with Alzheimer’s, addictions and depression. Research studies have also shown that people who participate regularly in yoga and meditation build communities that are less stressed, happier, healthier and safer.
As a not for profit event run entirely by volunteers we are very blessed and grateful to have such widespread support from our community across Australia and abroad – from the very bottom of our heart – THANK YOU!
